The loss of time and spark.

Staying at home from work with a cold: you can't sleep because you can't breathe. You can't read because your too uncomfortable. If you don't have cable, your then at the mercy of 1 mindless talk show after another.

I think what I hate most is the inability to sleep, but hate equally the not feeling motivated to do anything else. I also feel kind of claustrophobic when I have a stuffy nose, and since my kids LOVE to snuggle that presents a problem!!

They aren't enough to make you go to the doctor, but they make you feel bad enough to stay home from work or school. Whichever.

Oh, and happy Anniversary AL!

The begining of this entry cracked me up.. Thought you were getting erotic on us for a moment.

I don't really mind minor sicknesses too much.. The biggest thing about them that is horrible is that I'm soooo uncomfortable in one way or another. That I do hate.

Thanks for the Happy Anniversary wish. It sort of got---well, postponed...due to circumstances beyond our control.

As for the "erotic" beginning of that entry...what can I say? I'm just a tease.---Al

I absolutely hate the plugged up nose. I'll usually use a nasal spray, but we all know those only work for a few days, right?

Besides that, there's the pain, particularly if my throat is sore and I just have to cough.
