In response to the lurkers query, there's actually a fair amount of control I have, from having a quiet word, right through various stages of yellow and red cards. I can also impose life bans should the need arise.

So far, no problems; Dancing Dave has a password, and can't be arsed to post---we get less annoying irrelevance from him than we ever did over at Communicata. LR continues to post periodically and AFAIK we have one or two others who are non-toon lurkers that don't post at all, just like to read.

Personally I'm pretty comfortable letting fans from anywhere on here, as long as they're talking about football; I've said before that the reason why LR is tolerated/welcome here is that he likes to talk about footy....he's got some funny ideas, but at least he's a genuine fan.

It's great for all us ex-pats to have this resource, but outside constructive influence can certainly stop us all from disappearing up our own arseholes.

Sounds good to me.......debate yes, but just downright out and out abuse is neither entertaining nor interesting to read.

It is great to know that you have control in that way.....Do we report to you if we suspect someone, or do you just keep a watching brief on things?
