Come on, spill it. Those good times that make you feel all warm and squishy inside ;)

I've already mentioned this in my journal, but thinking of Papa Hemingway as my grandpa was always kind of nice.

Hmm ... I don't know if these are my favourites necessarily, but the first ones I thought of were going to Disneyworld when I was 3, and how me and my little brother would get to chill in my parents' room before we went to bed at night, watching cartoons my parents had taped for us like the Muppet Babies and stuff. So I wasn't cultured enough to be kickin it with Hemingway when I was 5 :P lol

hmmm... its hard to think of just one favorite childhood memory... but one that comes to mind is the first time i went to new york when i was about 5 or 6. we went on a helicoptor tour of manhattan and flew around the statue of liberty and then we took the ferry over and went inside the statue of liberty and took pictures. It was a long time ago and i was very young so most of the memories are more like hazy photographs... i remember a fancy restaurant... a burger king... a carnival-type place... my aunt's apartment with the big mirror with all the showbiz lights around it... a snoopy windup toy (which i still have)... and a statue of liberty piggy bank. Its all blurred together in my memory today... except for the helicoptor ride... i remember the helicoptor ride like it was yesterday. i believe it was my first time ever in a flying machine... so i was just wide-eyed with excitement. sigh... now i want to go to new york...

My childhood memories are pretty simple. I like to remember the good ole days of watching my brothers playing baseball and me gawking at the hotties on their teams. I like to remember when I used to play softball. I used to be really good at it. I also love to remember me taking dance classes and tapping all around just to annoy my brothers. My friends and I used to make up dances to everything, everyday after school. C&C Music Factory or Janet Jackson. Awwjeah. Once when there was a huge storm, my brother, cousins, and a few friends of ours put our swim suits on and went swimming in the puddles. (which weren't even that big) Ahh, memories..

One of my earliest and best memories is of walking my grandmother's dog, out around her Orange County neighborhood, at about 8 or 9. It was very peaceful out there, hardly any traffic, and no people except for the occasional jogger. The weather was perfect and my mental state was bliss. Maybe I didn't know everything back then, but it sure felt that way.
