LONDON (AP) - Share prices fell today in Europe
and Asia as Wall Street's plunge a day earlier
reverberated through the world's stock exchanges.

. . .

"With New York falling, it was clear that
Japan would fall," said Sachio Ishikawa,
general manager at Chuo Securities Co. "The
market is still worried that we haven't hit
bottom. A lot of stocks that went up when
the Nasdaq was booming were certain to fall
when Nasdaq sank."
