Contact: (202) 366-0511 or e-mail msc@tasc.dot.gov to pre-register This forum is the third in a series that provides government information technology managers and electronic records officers with current information on establishing and maintaining cost-effective electronic records management for information assets. Forum topics range from issues related to making a business case for ERM to selecting specific ERM techniques. The subject for this forum is Records Management and ASPs: Market and Management Perspectives. The speaker is Priscilla Emery, Senior Vice President of Information Products and Services for the Association for Information and Image Management International (AIIM). Ms. Emery has over 25 years experience in the information systems industry. She has been a featured speaker at international industry events and has been quoted in many business and industry publications. Ms. Emery is responsible for the development and delivery of publications and other information-oriented products and services to AIIM members and associates. Prior to her position at AIIM, Ms. Emery was Vice President and Director of GartnerGroups Electronic Workplace Technologies research center and New Sciences Intelligent Document Management service. She has provided many Fortune 500 user and vendor organizations with strategic planning advice in the areas of document management and the assimilation of new emerging technologies. Ms. Emery will discuss the link between records management and document management, how e-mail should be managed as an electronic document/record, e-business trends and the emergence of ASPs to the organizational landscape.
