I`m really looking forward to tomorrow`s match! Still gives me a buzz seeing one of ours walking out onto the pitch! I know not all of you are big on international footie - but I really enjoy it! I shall start a matchday thread, if anyone is likely to be around.(:o)

Agree I always like to watch England play. Watching it with a few mates and lots of beer makes it even better!! ;o)

Would love to join you for the match thread Galaxy but it's semi finals time for Perth Glory tomorrow night. An expected crowd of 43,000 should give it a bit of atmosphere so me and I expect Gus will be the ones watching a game for a change.

Still,... hope Shearer bags a couple.

Enjoy yourselfs

I'm always aprehensive about England games for three reasons:

1. I always worry that some twat will try and break Wor Al's legs

2. I hate cockneys whinging about Wor Al (i.e. "e's finished is thaaat Shearer"

3. I despise most 'Ingerlan' fans, especially those who wear those cheap and nasty The Scum plastic bowler hats, make ignorant remarks (i.e. "Why dahn't they play Dwight Yorke" - I s**t you not) and leave early.

That said, I hope Al bags a few and cracks a few Brazil nuts on the way ;-)

I look forward to it cause it was international competition that started my interest in footie in 94 (watching Ireland beat Italy), and led me to following NUFC (watching England in WC98). And hey, any excuse to watch Shearer run around works for me. ;-)

Hmm Ciara. I don't think the post code (trans. zipcode) for Wembley is WC98. If I'm not wrong, WC98 is either in the middle Lahndaan or the 3rd stall from the end of the new 100-seater super loo at that shopping complex near Thurrock.

Just found this on Aunty Beeb.

England team to play Brazil at Wembley:

Seaman (Arsenal), G Neville, P Neville (both Man Utd), Campbell (Tottenham), Keown (Arsenal), Ince (Middlesbrough), Wise (Chelsea), Beckham, Scholes (both Man Utd), Shearer (Newcastle), Owen (Liverpool).

Wot - no Phillips? A Geordie and a Smoggie but no Mackem. Hehehehehe!

Keown, Ince and Wise.....wow, he's gone for a few aggressive players there!!

Awwww...poor old Kevin Pheeeeeeleeeeps. Never mind :-)

Wembley's postcode is HA9 (I think - I know a few GP practices in the immediate locality) - it should, of course, be SH1T H0L3
