I was watching Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood this morning with my children and got a surprise during the "Neighborhood of Make-Believe" portion of the show. In preparation for the Bass Violin festival, King Friday XIII had his trumpeting fanfare artists summoned and one of them was...familiar. During the closing credits, my suspicions were confirmed as Ming Na Wen appeared in the list of Neighbors for that episode from 1985. Has anyone else noticed older less known roles for the actors now on ER?

I know Noah played a doctor on Sesame Street, but I saw a bit a few weeks back, kind of a song montage with famous people throughout it, and one part has someone, who looks very much like Carter, sitting with Big Bird in his nest. Do you know if that was him? Thanks

When Noah was on Conan O'Brien last year (?), he said that while he was taping the Sesame Street episode, they sat him in Big Bird's nest and made him sing part of a song to be included in a montage. He said something about being frightened to sing because he can't carry a tune :)

I admitted (on this board) last winter, to seeing the Carter montage on Sesame Street. Unfortunately (or maybe it is fortunate for us) they only show him singing 1 line - "la la la la la" while sitting in Big Bird's nest next to the Big yellow critter himself. (My 2 year old little boy tries so hard to sing that song. My 2 year old little girl usually leaves the room when the boy sings...) I would love to see the entire episode w/Noah. I truly think that Eriq should do an episode of Sesame Street. I saw an old episode of LA Law w/Eriq in it and danged if he didn't play a victim exactly the same way he plays Benton. He must have a very limited range or a very low dose of personality....

Eriq was in a TV movie with Kate Jackson a few years back called EMPTY CRADLE and I thought he was good in it...he was a detective trying to find out why she had a baby (it was kidnapped). I just looked him up on IMDb.com and found a surprising long list of credits...just in case anyone else might like to know.

On last night's rerun on TNT ("No Pain, No Gain" I think), Carter went out to dinner with Anspaugh and a visiting Japanese surgeon and he and the visiting surgeon became Anspaugh's back-up singers at Kareoke (sp?). Although not very good, they all seemed to be having a good time. Can you imagine the other people in the place finding out they were all doctors who had just performed serious surgery!
