So what's the most random job you've ever had that paid well? My roommate has even called about donating eggs for $2000!

They only give Northwestern students $2000 for donating eggs? Here all the advertisements are for $10,000 at least, usually more!

My roommate has seriously considered participating in a bronchoscopy study for $250. Dude, thats not enough for me to let anyone stick a fiber optic cable down my throat, and then draw blood...

I just keep getting freakin' job offers. I've been offered a job to intern in New York as an accountant to a tennis club, i've been asked to do a job at $11/hr, $.32/mile computer installations across the south over the summer, i got $20/hr to help a guy upload images to Ebay, and i'm plunging into the market that pays $50-110/hr.

And yet, i'm working for dad for $7/hr this summer. Wow, i remember a time with 7 was a lot...

My roommate got paid $50/hr to have several MRIs. She doesn't believe me when I tell her that its not good to be exposed to magenetic fields.

Oh well, I remember the days when getting a raise to $6.50 an hour was huge!

sheesh, I need to change professions. I probably won't even be making $7/hour this summer...

Yeah, the going rate for egg donors that I've seen here is between $10,000 and $25,000...

Well, I think the highest paying job offer that I received was at a career fair that was held earlier in the year (the only one that I've ever been to, by the way). I casually approached the Microsoft booth, told them that I had never programmed a single line of code in my life but that I liked math, and they encouraged me to be an intern project manager (about a $1,000 a week). Come again? I reiterated that I didn't know how to program, and they kept insisting... No wonder, Windows is so flaky, they have people like me managing it!!!

Maybe, I'll take up the offer after I learn how to code... wouldn't want to booted out of Redmond for technical incompetence, after all... :)

i got $10/hr for tutoring in high school. i've been offered a $16/hr job to learn and do some networking stuff, maybe even design a corporate package for this little company...but then we moved up here... so now i'm working at siemens, doing VB programming and Rational Rose diagramming for $12/hr...
