(Old) Jerusalem Bible now available

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Catholic : One Thread

Hello, folks.
Not long ago, the subject of the "Jerusalem Bible" arose here. (I'm speaking of the highly respected, original translation published in the 1960s -- the favorite of Mother Mary Angelica of EWTN -- not the "politically correct" revision of the late 1980s.)
Just yesterday, I received a flyer in the mail from a new book supplier, "Benedictus Bookstore" (2909 Richmond Road, Lexington, KY 40509 -- toll-free 1-888-316-2640), announcing that a "reader's edition" is now available (re-printed, I assume). It has a "porable, trim size" (5.5 by 8.25 inches). The books have brief introductions and there are explanatory footnotes.
John
PS: B.B. has an Internet site just being built (www.benedictus.com).
