When, where and what activities are planned for jamboree this year and will the teams be given any handouts concerning the jamboree.

I don't know about handouts. I missed the board meeting, since I broke my leg and am not able to spend much time with my foot not elevated.

Here's information I have about the Jamboree.

The Jamboree will take place at South Salem. The schedule of events looks something like this:

9:00 AM Braves vs. Dodgers Field #2 (Warren/Butch - the Board discussed the concern over playing on a softball field, but felt the success of the Jamboree was more important than playing the game at Leslie, so the game will take place at S. Salem for the greater good of the league - in subsequent years, we expect to move the entire Jamboree to Leslie).

9:00 AM Major/Junior Girls Game Field #3

10:30 AM T-Ball something or other Field #4

12:00 AAA All Star game Field #2

2:15 PM Field dedications

2:30 PM Announcement of All Stars (time approximate)

4:00 PM Senior baseball game Field #1

A mound will be built on Field #2 for the Majors Championship and the AAA All Star game. Phil Brown has graciously agreed to lead the installation and removal process, but is looking for volunteers from both the Braves and Dodgers to help with the process (others are welcome, of course). We're looking at putting the mound in on Thursday or Friday night before Jamboree.
