Guilty Pleasure Television

My current one? That new "Survivor" show. It's horrible. I'll probably tape it if I'm ever not home to watch it. Also starting to like "The Real World". *sigh*

Working in the evenings it's kinda hard for me to view new shows (unless I remember to tape them), so I just watch all the shows that I've know and become addicted to. It doesn't matter if it's a new season or not, I will always be addicted to Real World/Road Rules. I also am guilty of being addicted to Dawson's Creek and Felicity.

I don't even have a TV. Do you have a used one around the house you can ship to a poor, deprived expat? Thanks. Oh a VCR would be nice too, and if you are going to send that you might as well tape me some episodes of "Strangers with Candy" while you're at it.

dammit! life is not fair. ever since i've moved back home... i no longer have cable... so its extremely hard for me to watch The Real World or Road Rules. both of which i have a tendency to become addicted to. My ex-girlfriend used to have cable at her apartment... so i would always try to catch up on those shows when i stayed over... she used to say "you only love me for my cable"... which was true... hahahaha... ok no, thats mean and untrue... but the cable was a big plus... and if she didnt have cable she probably wouldnt have lasted as long as she did... id say the cable kept her around a couple of extra weeks or so... hehehe...

but now theres Survivor: free television's answer to the Real World... ahhh.. finally!!! at long last network television finally picked up two rocks... tapped them together and created a spark of a good idea that wasnt mind-numbingly lame!!!
but nay... it just wasnt meant to be... cuz in the ultimate irony... ive been working during the shows and have missed every single one. In fact i've barely even caught the premise... alls i know is its gilligans island if it were real... and for a shitload of money. in other words... my kind of show.
oh well... such is life...
