"Wait...I remember now....***********" (Demiurge)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Aeon Flux : One Thread

Oops! I must be greedy but *please* could you help out with another query of mine? Near the beginning of The Demiurge, Trevor Goodchild calls out "WAIT...I remember now!...." and then his explanation is deliberately cloaked by the explosion. This is haunting and somewhat...chilling.

Any ideas to what it all means?

Thank you! =James=

I believwe what he says during the explosion is "You can't hide from it, it's everywhere."

perhaps, this is a comment on the explosive nature of cultural memory.

or, perhaps, it is a comment on the explosive nature of the lack of cultural memory.

that would meld in with the whole DENIAL issue.

ok. or perhaps this is merely symbolic of the internally psychologically shocking nature of the act of remembering.
