Power outage on Northwest side

Thousands of Tucson Electric Power customers are without power tonight because of a wildfire in New Mexico.

Officials with TEP say that the incoming lines from the Springerville generating station into Tucson are being affected.

Residential and industrial customers in the area bordered by Campbell Ave to the East, I-10 to the West, Wetmore Rd to the South and Catalina to the North are expected to have intermittent outages throughout the evening.
