This is just a thought. Did you know that there are some similarties between Carol and Lucy? Both of them never really knew their dad. Carol's dad died when she was really young and Lucy's dad didn't want anything to do with her. Lucy's mom was a single mom at 19 and raised Lucy by herself. Carol had twins and was raising them by herself until she went back to Doug. I was thinking that Carol and Lucy should have had a talk about that. What I mean is Lucy could have told her that she never knew her dad and she wished she had just like Carol did. Lucy was brought up very well obviously since she was a med student. Or Carol could have talked to Lucy's mom about bringing up kids alone. Then again maybe not since it would be hard for Lucy's mom to talk about Lucy still. Anyways they should have been friends and talked since they had some of the same life experiences. That's just a thought.

I think Carol and Lucy were very similar in their persistence and care for their patients. They both got emotionally involved (as do most of the doctors) and they were both stubborn, but very good at talking and opening up their patients. I could very much see Carol in Lucy as she talked with Abby and threw the money off the roof in Abby Road. Although, as far as Lucy and her father, in THe Good Fight she told Carter that her father's leaving might have been the best thing for her and her mom, so that might not have convinced her to go back to Doug.
