Are there any R.E.M. fans who are also big Talking Heads fans? They are my two favorite and I think it would be cool if there was someone besides my friend and I who felt the same way.

Yup,sure am,was a talking Heads fan before i discovered the ecstasys of the music of REM and find parallels between the two types of music, some are quite similar.Also David Byrne and Michaeln Stipe are quite similar ,though i'm sure there will be disagreements here,and like you they are my two fave bands though REM just take the lead!!!!!!!!!!

I also love Talking Heads. I was raised by a family who always listen to Talking Heads while driving, so I4ve been brain-washed I think, but I really do love them. I saw David Byrne at Roskilde 497, and he was really great in his pink dress.
