Friends/ER

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

I was watching a re-run of Friends the other day. Monica and Rachel went to the ER for their hurt ankle and George Clooney and Noah Wyle were their docs. They also came over later and Monica reminded Rachel of the docs as the "cute doctors" I thought that it was neat that Doug Ross and Carter made appearences on other shows. I wish that shows could do that more often.

I was thinking since some of us would like to know what is going to happen to Paul Sobricki they could have the trial on another show like "Law and Order" since it would probably have to be on the same network as NBC. And Naoh could testify on that show and on "ER" some of the actors from "Law and Order" be there to ask questions about what happened. I've never seen "Law and Order" before and I'm probably the only person who hadn't but this is just an idea.

Major problem with your proposal. Law and Order takes place in NYC. ER takes place in Chicago. Paul Sobrinky murder Lucy and attempted murder on Carter in Chicago. That means that it is the court system in Chicago that prosecutes Sobrinky , not one in NYC.

I said a show LIKE Law and Order. What law show takes place in Chicago?

Awhile back they wanted to do some cross over shows between ER, Law and Order and Homicide: Life on the Streets. I think it was the same season as the live epi that ER did, because I remember them giving that as the excuse of why ER did not do it. L&O and HLOTS did do the cross over epi. I don't think there are any shows on NBC like L&O that take place in Chicago. Ally McBeal and The Practice did some crossover shows and they were on different networks, but that is because they are both written by David Kelley. I think Third Watch is done by the same people as ER, but again, that is in NY. Maybe Paul could escape, go to NY and hurt someone there and then they try to extradite him back to Chicago. That would be a little farfatched I guess!

Nooooo! That would be so unfair for UK viewers like me who don't get any of those other shows... we're mad obsessed fans too, you know!!!

Well that's not quite true... we do have Friends and Ally McBeal...

Anyway, sorry for the rant. I am in a strange mood as I just finished all my exams.
