PNM Reports Power Outage Source: Albuquerque Journal Publication date: 2000-06-22

AROUND ABQ Power to Martineztown and other neighborhoods between Downtown and the University of New Mexico went out Wednesday night, the Public Service Company of New Mexico reported.

A total of 1,265 customers were blacked out between 8 and 8:50 p.m., said Laurie Moye, PNM spokeswoman. A substation near Arno and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. NE failed.

The cause of the outage hadn't been determined Wednesday night, Moye said.
