George Clooney in today's NY Times

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

Just thought I'd let those who are interested know that there is an article about George Clooney in today's NY Times in the Arts and Leisure section. He doesn't say much about ER per se; the article is more about his career in general and some of the conflicts (with producers, etc.) that he's had.

He's also on the cover of Men's Journal and he looks VERY good. He looks exactly like he did in the Such Sweet Sorrow episode. Of course it's mostly promoting The Perfect Storm.

Well, it makes sense that any articles about him (or Julianna, or Sherry Stringfield, or Kellie Martin) wouldn't focus too much on ER. All of these actors are presumably trying to further their careers in other areas, and want to be recognized for all their achievements. Especially their more recent ones. Even if they're most well-known and beloved for ER, they'll still want to be interviewed about their latest projects.

I have to agree with that. I was watching a special about "The Brady Bunch" and a few cast members say that they are stillasked questions about them being on the show and it's been 25 years since the show. So I guess for some reason the press feels a need to ask them about their former shows which is sad considering they are doin other things now.
