Doulas in Canada?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Doula.Com General Discussion : One Thread |
I am interested in becoming a doula. I live in Vancouver, B.C.. I'm wondering what education is needed. Any information on becoming a doula in Canada is welcome.

Hi Kristen, I took my training from LSAR in Ontario. They may be able to hook you up with an organization out west. You can email them at lawson@sprint.ca

I'm jumping into this discussion really late, but the information is probably still relevant.I teach the CAPPA doula trainings in BC. If you want more information on the trainings, you can take a look at my website at: www.birth.bc.ca.
There is also a list of ways to train as a doula in BC on the website.
I hope this helps someone!
