Bingo, thanks Jerry! Thats exactly the kind of thing I was looking for! ultracheap, easy to do and good insulation. I rummaged around the web and found that it adapts easily to slip form standing panels too. The only drawbacks is that it gets wet easily, but that can be taken care of by a silicon based sealer.
I wasnt able to find out how much shrinkage happens when it dries though, does anybody actually own the book the link points to?

Don't know much about these paper houses 'cept they don't appeal to me! I still think the hay bale homes are the best way to go. GREAT insulation!

Very interesting! I think I too am going to give straw bale a try however when I get to Maine. Basically due to the high insulation value it affords.
