I love the attention to detail....

I know this has been mentioned in other posts before, but sometimes the writers really pay attention to their stuff! In last night's TNT re-reun, "When the Bough Breaks," the abandoned research study by Dr. Ross dealt with no other topic than PCA management in children. The same theory that eventually lead to his depature from the er in "The Storm." (On a post within a post: "The Storm;" "The Perfect Storm" looking to suck all those Clooney fans into the box office this weekend, eh?)I just thought the subtle reference was amazing. And I love watching the re-runs as the show ages just to see how the all seem to tie together.

I saw that last night too. That is a GREAT point. Did the writers mean for that? I mean, they probably didn't even know George was going to leave anytime soon at that time. wow. I know, the writing on ER is strong -- very strong.

One of the things I love to see is the relationship between Carter and Benton. Seeing the old episodes makes the more recent ones (such as "All in the Family" rerun last night) more meaningful. Great point, Cat!q
