amaebi.org or sweetshrimp.org?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : live sweet shrimp : One Thread

OK, both domain names are gonna expire soon, and I can only keep one ... I think I made up my mind already, but figured I'd throw the question out ... which do you prefer?

Man, sheetshrimp makes alternately giggle and gag.

Amaebi is kick-ass. am ae bi ... it's so ambiguous, keeping the latin alive.

arma virumque cano...

Am ae bi ... sounds like "Am I bi?" How's that for ambiguity?

I think you like the amaebi.org domain better because you identify with that name more (NOT the 'am i bi' mentioned above though). It's your codename, like Wamba is Wamba, and Icedog is Icedog.

On the other hand, sweetshrimp is easier to say and spell.

btw, Hi Charles! (first time poster)

ok, honestly, I've been leaning towards "sweetshrimp" -- why?

1) it's the original URL that was launched 2) it's easier to type and spell 3) it's the english translation of the journal title, which will remain "amaebi," and I won't have do deal with as many questions as to what on earth it means...or how on earth to pronounce it, which, in case you're wondering is, ah-ma-eh-bee. :)

but I still haven't made up my mind yet.
