Ok, this chickie-monkie is gonna announce to all R.E.M. fans that my favorite song is.......drum roll please....King Of Birds. Truly, don't y'all find that this song moves ya in a way that NO OTHER song can? For me, I find myself in tears when ever I hear this song. Has any R.E.M. song ever done that to y'all? Well anybears, recently I was driving and I had Document in and I heard this song and I swear....I just dazed off for a few minutes in my R.E.M. zone land and just absorbed this song in. Truly, King of Birds in my FAVORITE. Chow M.

I totally agree, its a brilliant song. But so many songs of rem make me cry. Everybody Hurts, Let Me In, Strange Currencies, Swan Swan H, Near Wild Heaven.... I could go on forever.

Bloody sacrilage. The Velvet's version so surpassed REM's effort. Stipe changed most of the bloody words and missed the best parts of the song out. I don't think I'll hold it against him though.....

chill jon! REM can't cover a song completely, it would be so unlike them. i hate bands who cover songs exactly, it just shows they can't be bothered to write one themselves.
