On the other hand, I think it was last year some time that a patient was telling me about meeting with one of the hospital dietitians about the weight loss program his physician wanted him on. She asked him for his assessment of the diet he had been on most of his life. He thought about a moment and told her, "Well, I'm from Texas, and the Texas diet is designed mainly to kill Texans..."
