My husband and I rented a movie the other night and one of the movies previewed was Instinct. It stars Anthony Hopkins, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Maura Tierney (Abby Lockhart) and John Aylwald (Dr. Anspaugh). It looked like a very good thriller. Thought ER fans would like know. Has anyone seen it?

Dr Anspaugh's late son, Scott (Trevor Morgan) plays one of Mel Gibson sons on The Patriot.

I saw it and i thought it was a good movie, although critics disagreed. I belive "Dr. Anspaugh" (can't think of the actor's name!) is in the movie as well. it isn't exactly a thirrler, but it is a good look into the human psyche. it also has some "gorillas in the mist" qualities. overall i thought it was well acted and i really liked the story too. maura tierny plays Anthony hopkin's daughter and the actor who plays dr. anspaugh works at the prison where anthony hopkins is held.

Hmmm.....sorry if this isn't relevant to the original question, but i think Maria Bello (Dr. Anna del Amico from season 4) is/will be in "Coyote Ugly", a movie that's opening in theatres in Toronto (at least) during the summer (or maybe it has already come out)....

Yes, Rachael, Trevor Morgan is in one of Barney's movies. And he was a bad guy in "The sixth sense". I know all this because my 14 years old thinks he is the cutest guy since she saw him play Scott on er. We even had to rent this Barney movie so she could see her "favorite" actor!

Abraham Benrubi (Jerry) was also in George of the Jungle with Brendan Frasier...if anyone was skeptical about this movie, it is VERY good, even for adults...its hysterical and very entertaining, trust me.
