DONUTS!!!!

2 cups of sugar, 3 tablespoons Miracle Whip mixed with 2 cups of milk.1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons baking soda. Add enough flour to stiffen--roll out on flour-ed board. Use a jar ring to cut those dudes out with. You can use a thinble to cut the "holes". Cook in hot grease till light brown on both sides. Remove and drain on paper towels and then throw'm in a paper bag with sugar. Shake the paper bag to coat these country donuts. Makes 3 to 4 dozen. This tastes so good and while we're at it --how about fudge building plans?

3 cups sugar, 1 cup milk, 3 squares of choc, butter the size of a walnut. Boil until soft ball forms in water. Cool without beating. When it's cool beat briskly until it stiffens up. Pour into a buttered pan or platter. Peanuts, walnuts or about any kind of nuts can be added before beating. Hope y'all enjoy! Matt. 24:44

Hoot, I appreciate the recipes---I was going to tell you how much I appreciate you, also---then on the post "Who are you",/ I read your post--- (before your post--I had pictured you as this OLD guy!) I mean really old guy! ---well I don't want your little red-headed dumplin to think I'm flirting with you--cause I'm not--but, when I thought you were this really old guy/ I thought I could get by with saying, I appreciated you & your stories & wisdom---oh heck I'm going for it---in front of God & everyone who reads this forum--- Hoot, I appreciate you!/ plus your little red-headed dunplin & my precious hubby, have not a single thing to worry about! ha/ that old Sonda in Ks.

Wonderful recipes hoot! I can almost smell the doughnuts cooking! If the morning sickness wasn't so bad, I'd think that I'd make up a batch! The fudge sounds interesting too. I can't do fudge. I've tried and tried. The only one that I have ANY luck with at all is the one that my mum does.. and it has marshmallow creme in it. Thanks again!! ~Patience is waiting with a happy spirit~

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm good! Donuts...I've never tried to make any, but there's always a first time! As far as those of you that "can't" make fudge, the ole marshmallow fluff recipe turns out more than an acceptable batch of fudge in my opinion! Never tried to make it any other way here, figured I won't mess with success. Thanks for the recipe Hoot!
