Names of Other Candidates for Bishop

greenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread

First I would like to pass on my gratitude for the marvelous job of keeping us SO WELL informed during the entire General Conference. It was good to be informed by one of our own who knew what was going on rather than a news reporter who never even heard of the A.M.E. Church. I called all my friends and we were all logged on during the entire week. I am glad I printed your reports each day so I can let others read them and keep them as reference material. MY QUESTION: Does anyone have the names of all 41 candidates who ran for Bishop and the Districts or States they are from?? Keep up the good work !!

Brother Henderson,

I will provide you with the 41 candidates, but I must beg leave not to have all of the home areas in my possession so I will count on other to cut and paste and fill in the blanks until we have an entire list. I will take it one step further and inform you of which of them are online at A.M.E. Today, that i know of anyway, to better let you know who is and is not part of this online community. Below the list of Bishop Candidates, Hope this helps.

My apologies to Presiding Elder Tyler. In my rush to get the table out Friday, I did not QA my spelling. His PE district is "Jackson-Greenwood".
