Internet Explorer v. Netscapegreenspun.com : LUSENET : It's Always the Quiet Ones : One Thread |
Okay, as of right now, 30% of Quiet Ones readers use Netscape, and the rest use Internet Explorer. Netscape users, i have just one question. Why?

Well, I have a tendency to use Netscape simply because I "grew up" with it. IE is a superior product, waay more stable and I'm reminded to use it only after Netscape crashes.

because they make me! its all they have at work =(

Traditiooooon, tradition!I remember the days when Netscape was the more stable. Aaah, the good ol' days. Last time I used IE was when I had to redownload Netscape after mine (and much of my windows too) was maimed by the Chernobyl virus 2 years ago.
That, and I have several friends who work at Netscape.

One of my friends was at Netscape the day they IPO'd... a die-hard Netscaper until very recently. He's now admitted his mistake and converted to IE...

I tried to be Netscape only at one time, the first few months of college. I just couldn't take it, it was too shitty. I still have it on my computer for testing, but i never browse with it.

Its always worked just peachy keen for me... Except for when it goes psycho and crashes, but that tends to be stimulated by certain websites. I think quietones actually did it back when I was at school... Nothing like a good shock therapy for your browser. Thanks nae, for providing it =).

yeah actually it's an anti-netscape defense system. Crash the crap.

For some reason, they don't make IE for Linux. But they will.....
