Who will represent the church in 2004

In 2004 any pastor who is 75 years or over cannot receive an appointment to a church. However, the electorial college will occur one year before. Will this create a situation where many of the delegates to the General Conference on the ministerial side, will be those who will not be pastoring the following year?

There are not that many 75-year old pastors. I can't see hwere there will be a problem concerning delegates.

Rev Castain: Are you kidding? In my conference there are several and in many other conferences there are quite a number of older ministers who will be delegates in 2004.

Bro. Gibson, In the Second, we have a lot of YOUNG pastors, also. I do understand that other districts are not as fortunate. Wouldn't it be marvelous if older delegates could add a bit more maturity and grace to the proceedings, resulting in a more peaceful setting??? Wishful thinking!!!:):):):)
