The Orange County Sheriff's Office is having problems with its computers. It seems the payroll program has a glitch, and it's been overpaying deputies for overtime work. Sheriff Kevin Beary says the office is out about 15-thousand dollars in overpayments. To make matters worse, the IRS noted the discrepancy and ordered the sheriff's office to pay over 200-thousand dollars in penalties. After the problem was explained, the IRS cancelled the fine.
