Manual for Linhof Tech IVgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Large format photography : One Thread |
I recently purchased a Linhof Super Technika IV and would like to locate a manual for this camera. I would be willing to pay for copying and postage if someone has one. Thanks,

Midwest Photo Exchange sells color copies of them for ca $15. I have one, and they are really done very nicely. They can be contacted atmpex.com or at 614-261-1264.
I think this is your best bet.

How timely ! I have just added scans of the original Linhof Super Technika IV manual to the LF page, http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~qtluong/photography/lf/linhof/technika.html

Kent... check out the website at www.craigcamera.com I have not done business with him yet, but he has a large listing of manuals and reprinted manual for sale. He even seems to be willing to trade a manual that you need in exchange for the loan of a manual he does not yet have, so that he can make copies!Sounds like a great concept to me. -Dave

I second the suggestion of John Craig for old and reprinted manuals. He seems to have EVERYTHING! An amazing website/list. Very nice guy, very helpful and extremely knowledgeable.

For some strange reason John Craig has very little Linhof stuff and, last time I saw his catalog (about three months ago), had no camera manuals. As someone else said, MidWest Photo Exchange is a good source. Actually a manual for the V and Master would work fine too. The differences among the IV, V, and Master are fairly minimal from an operation standpoint.
