On-line questionnaire survey: Experiences following stress and trauma

greenspun.com : LUSENET : domestic violence : One Thread

Dear all, Hi there, I'm a Ph.D. student researcher in the department of psychology at the University of Essex (UK).

I'm interested in stress and trauma following exposure to major events (e.g. abuse, victimisation, assault, crime, injury, accident, workplace stress and pressure, bereavement, disaster etc.) and wonder if anyone would like to participate in my anonymous on-line survey research (change following life events). This involves filling out a series of brief questionnaire measures. In all this can take around 30 minutes (or less).

My research is sponsored by the Economic and Social Research Council of Great Britain and will, I believe, make an important contribution to our understanding of the processes underlying psychological adjustment to severe life events.

I would be extremely grateful if anyone can help. My research can be found at:

Best wishes and thanks very much for your time. Syd Hiskey Researcher Department of Psychology University of Essex

Hi there, stress and teaching is not really my area so about the best I can do is direct you to a couple of web resources. I hope these are of some use, most likely you'll have to follow links and mail a few people from the sites to get a handle on the specific area you want to research. Hope this is of some use, good luck with it all.
