I Can't Live Another Second Without It!

Yesterday, I suddenly started craving cake. But not any kind of cake, birthday party cake. The cake is chocolate, I think but that's not important, what really matters is the icing, which is the kind that's so sugary that it gets this crunchy skin on it, you know what I mean?

What are you craving right now?

Wednesday night I had a potluck party, and my friend Heather brought an amazing salad. It had new spinach and flowers and onions and peppers in it, and the dressing was... this astonishing... thing.

She said it was... hm, lime juice, garlic (from her garden), honey, coconut and ginger, I think... An incredible fresh, summery flavour.

I could have me another plate of that right now. Or perhaps a bowl of gazpacho.

The job I applied for. I could save a wad of cash, and would have free e-mail, printing, photocopying (when the photocopy room person wasn't there), and interlibrary loans. And work with great people, mostly high school kids.

I'd say cheddar cheese fries, but I just had a plateful. For a while, I *was* craving cheddar, which you can't easily find in Romania.

For the last three weeks, I have desperately wanted one of Kooper's huge, juicy hamburgers with the egg roll and lettuce and tomato and wahhhhhhh, I'm only 800 miles away from Kooper's right now.

When we were in high school, one of my friends and I would always get cravings for KFC's potato wedges in the middle of the day while sitting in Biology class. We would sit there and describe them to each other (obviously not during the actual class since we were good little tots and never interrupted our teacher who was a bastardperson) in vaguely potatographic terms: "Ohh... crispy, browned, slightly spicy and flavorful crunchiness surrounding a soft, warm, potatoey goodness."
