Canoscan 2710f or Minolta Scan Dual II need advicegreenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread |
I will be purchasing a film scanner in the next couple days, and don't want to buy a lemon. Which is better - Minolta Scan Dual II or the Canoscan 2710f? Why? How do they each perform? Thanks

I think that both should be quite good. The dynamic range is about the same for both. the scan dual II is a usb device that allows you to connect to computers without scsi connections, e.g. i-mac.

The best way to find out which one works for you is to check out a non partison eval. company like Betterbuys.com, or any buyers lab. These are two companys that I use to help clients with their solutions. It is non partison, and it also gives you the scoop if there is another product that you may not have considered.Happy Hunting.
