In order for your question to be answered, you need to provide more information. Are you talking about indoor ants, regular black or red outdoor ants or fire ants? What is your specific situation?

It doesn't really matter what kind of ant or insect it is. Sprinkle FOOD/AGRICULTURE grade diatomaceous earth on the mounds, in your house, or wherever, and they'll be dead and gone in no time.

Do not use the FILTER grade of DE. It has no effect on the insects and it'll make humans/critters sick or kill them. This is what's used in swimming pools.
