Forgive me for digressing, but I found the following posted by a pilot on an aviation safety board and couldn't resist sharing:"New Arrival simon_stuart (35/M/UK) 8/15/00 8:28 am
For those of you interested, Simon Airlines has just taken delivery of its latest model - Lucy - to run alongside our older models Kathryn and Bethany. The inaugural flight time of 38 weeks was a little shorter than expected as was the 2hr hold at the outer marker before commencing finals for a touchdown at 11:24 on Saturday 12th August. Weight at touchdown was a gentle 7lbs, fuel consumption in-flight was negligible but is now rising fast. Maint reports Lucy is structurally intact and that all systems appear to be working correctly......."
Gotta love that British sense of humour!
