My parents are hippies, still trapped in the 1970's. I love what some of their hippie friends named their kids-Celestial, Donovan, Star.

My second grade teacher's name was Miss Dickie. She was a meanie and we didn't find out until almost the end of the year that her first name was Candy. Candy Dickie, I kid you not! Too bad we didn't know sooner, we might have been able to use it against her. Though at 7 years old I'm not sure how far we could have taken it.

My nickname which took me years to outgrow. The small group of boys I ran with had the habit of word play with each other and all our nicknames came from that activity. My nickname ? "Double Ugly' derived from Douglas. I guess I served time for, "Let The Punishment Fit The Crime."
