Short width magazine / roll film back, 6x6, or 6x7?

I desire to make my own thin MF camera. I want to mount 2 of them side by side to shoot stereo. I want them to be able to get as close as possible to each other.

To accomplish this, I need to find a 6x6 or 6x7 magazine / roll film back with a width which is very short. I would like it to be only about 10 - 20 mm wider than the horizontal film format. To accomplish this, the spools would need to be behind the image area, not on the sides of it...(this makes the magazine way to wide). Any ideas on who would make such a product? Or even custom make one? Thank you all in advance.

Maybe two 2.25x3.25 rollfilm backs in vertical orientation would work? You could cut down the sides on a bandsaw, but mount the handles out!
