Wow! Incredible! That's the best bird/animal shot I've seen on this forum, as far as subject and composition. The bird actually looks *happy* with that fish. The white background makes it more dramatic.Fantastic detail on the bird and branch, but the fish is a little washed out on top.
Just wondering, about how big is that bird? About 6 inches long?

I love these little birds and have yet to get a good picture of one because of their small size and my small lenses. Nice action shot. Curious as to how you got the white background?

I can only add to the kudos-- nice shot. I once finished a roll with some shots of a sparrow near the water. As I was changing film, an eagle swooped down about twenty five feet from me & hauled a good size fish into the air. I almost fainted. Since then I have stayed pretty much to still lifes, especially trees.
