Obviously, I'm not feeling as flippant as I came across about my mom's little love note. I'm just trying to blow it off and pretend she didn't hurt me. How do your parents treat your decisions? Are they supportive and accepting or do they tell you what a shitty person you are?

My mom's reply to any decision/news that I share with her, regardless of it is good or bad news:

"oh that's nice..."

My dad, on the other hand....let's not go there...we don't talk but twice a year.

it's sad...neither of my parents know me at all. they know me as I was when I was 16. I'm now 32.
