Tohoku Electric Power Co. on Saturday reported
leak of coolant water at a nuclear power plant
between the towns of Onagawa and Oshika, Miyagi
Prefecture, northern Japan.

It said plant workers found at around 10:45 a.m. that
about 1 liter of water had leaked from a pipe at
the Onagawa plant's No. 1 reactor, but no radiation
was found to have escaped from the plant.
