God, Love & Rock-n-Roll! Seriously, God , or my personal relationship with Him keeps me from wishing I were dead. My daughter has told me on several occasions, "Mom, after all you have been through, you should be dead." She's probably right, but I must keep going,lest I lay down& die. I get up each day & thank Him for giving me one more day! I question Him also daily, as to why he still has me here, is it punishment? I don't think so. I think it is because I have to SING! For my daughter, she lives to write, I live to sing & sing to live! And as long as I am able to draw a breath, I will SING. iT'S a magical, spiritual thing for me, it takes me away to a higher plane , especially if it touches someone else. so I guess,whether I'm singing "the Lord's Prayer", "24-7", Oldies, like "She's My Brown-eyed Girl" or "I gotta get drunk & sure do dread it, cause I know just what I'm gonna do" it really doesn't matter as long as I sing!
