Hi, everybody! I've enjoyed reading Kate and Michael's postings and was just curious as to how everyone else is faring. Claremont McKenna is great for me, so far. My roommate's really cool and we get along well. I spend a lot of time outside in the beautiful So Cal sunshine, studying, swimming, trying to tan. Last weekend, I went to the beach with my friends and then went shopping in Santa Monica. Quite a change from Olympia. The academic side of my college experience hasn't been all that I had hoped for. My classes are Lit 10 (for freshmen), Energy and the Environment, French, and Modern European History. They're pretty easy, aside from some very difficult reading in history. Our first assignment for Lit is to write a paper on rhetorical techniques! I'll be able to whip one of those out in about ten minutes after all the practice we got last year w/ bunderla. Well, I hope everyone else is having as much fun as I am. I'm really curious to see what everyone thinks of college or preparation for college, so please write something!
