Some students have noticed that if you download text files from Linux to a Windows machine using binary mode FTP and then upload them, they won't work. The carriage return/ line feed on the two systems is different.

If you use the ASCII option, it works fine.

(Note: This would apply to .txt, .html, .adp, and .tcl files)
