With the apparrent dearth of natural left footers in the game today I took in Rangers match with Sturm Graz (poor side) with more than a passing interest, This was the first time this season that Advocaat has been able to play all his left footers, Numan,Van Bronkhurst, Albertz and later in the game McCann, Rangers did play some good stuff their passing game was excellent but it was the movement of the ball down the left side that really excited me, all the players looked comfortable, very rarely did they stop and check back, if the ball was passed square or back they just altered their body shape. It all looked so surreal to me and yet it should not., the feeling I had was that the manager was attempting to introduce a new tactical ploy into the game, strange how one can get conditioned,
