I totally agree. Often times I have little time to read everything, but, I feel, just being able to scan the headlines, at least, every day, keeps me on the cutting edge of knowledge of just what that is really important is going on in the world.

This is the service I would miss the most were it ever to become unavailabe.

You save me much time & effort at scrolling thru numerous online wire services. So I can go prepare more spaghetti sauce for my family! I'm deeply indebted to you all. Many of my extended family have also become better informed by my sharing of these not-ready-for-primetime news items. Really shows us how far we have come from the WWII days when the average Joe could fire up the wireless and hear detailed analysis from overseas on troop deployment, battles etc. The "50 mile radius" transistor radio that could "fit in your breast pocket" killed that off. Alas that. We need less high tech gadgets and gizmos with 500 channels of pablum and more of this real time reporting. Blessings to you all. Keep up the excellent work for as long as you can. And fasten your seatbelts

What a wonderful service GICC posters are performing.

By way of thanks and tribute, why not e-mail the GICC URL to members of the media, as well as public officials, political candidates, and those in major roles of responsibility in the public or private sector and let them in on this extraordinary source of information. I would be surprised if any of them had a clipping service that came close to GICC in its timeliness, interest, and value.

Students of all ages who are concerned about the state of the nation and the world will benefit greatly by using GICC as a resource.
