My husband says I never fix these often enough.

Sift together: 3/4c cornmeal...1/4c flour...1t baking powder..1/4t.salt

Beat: 1 egg

Add:6T milk...2T grated onion

Stir the liquids all at once into dry...add onion...drop by spoonfuls into deep hot oil...Cook til goden brown. Gary likes them dipped in mayo. Enjoy!
