HO SAL Passenger observation read end red lighst?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ACL and SAL Railroads Historical Society : One Thread

After reading the new LINES SOUTH 3rd Quarter 2000 issue, I would like to find a large red light that is on the roof of the SAL Budd cars numbered #6600 thru 6605, for a HO streamliner? I have looked in many details catologs, but I can not find a close match. Thanks for any help. Allen L. Wiener, Ocala, FL SAL/ACL/SOU RWY

The HO model car is a Branchline Trains, with the Seaboard road name, #14910-5. The car looks like the picture, on page 6 of Lines South, of SAL Obs care #6601 with the large red light on the rear roof. The model car has a molded light, but much to small. I would like to put a correct workling light on. I sholuld have included this information above, call it a "Senior Moment". ALW
