I would just like to add that i too hate Daryl Denham. When i am trying to wake up, the last thing i need are prank calls, and chopped up bits of news sliced together to make a "funny" statement.

I've been desperately searching for another station since. I even resorted to listening to Talk Sport - despite the fact that i have no interest in it at all.

Glad to know that someone else hates that type of programme in the early morning. I love cheesy songs and miss hearing them as i open my eyes :(

AARGH! Coldseal jingles! I am the queen of those...I know them all...

-- Helen (breathe@oceanic.nu), October 07, 2000.

Okay here's a question - which is your favourite Cold Seal advert of all time? I'm tempted to side with the one with the three little pigs, though I am quite keen on the manically laughing one.

I was always a big fan of the Stetchford tiles ads (big ones, small ones patterned or plain, if you call in once you'll have to call again...) i think that's probably dating me though! :D

What about the Secure Homes one. All together now...

# If you've got bills to pay Don't worry now, 'cos there's another way. Secure Homes make it easy, Paying bills is easy, It's so easy when howwwwww!

Well, i'm now tuned into Radio 3! So i spent the 15 minutes listening to some oboe concerto, instead of daryl denham drivel. *sighs* it's not really what i was looking for...

-- smallkat (smallkat@hotmail.com), October 09, 2000.

I liked the Jamaican ColdSeal advert - 'Coldseal, singalong the music'...

Erm, anyway.

The Coldseal three little pigs ad has to be the world's finest media masterpiece. Altogether now... Once upon a time there were three little pigs

Anyone seen the "amusing" ad for Daryl Denham on the telly...?

-- smallkat (smallkat@hotmail.com), October 19, 2000.

Daryl is a very talented DeeJay I have worked with him, just cause you brummies have the sense of humour of a potatoe peel does not make him any less of a genius. His talents are wasted on you paupers.

Daryl Denham is the funniest thing to have ever hit Birmingham or any other part of the midlands. He has a truly unique talent to go from very funny one liners whilst the next minute move to a more serious note about current affairs. Anyone who doesn't like it need not listen, but as the audience figures prove, the majority of the midlands prefer to wake up listening to him - for obvious reasons. And for those of you who have commented on the adverts - GET A LIFE!!

How does a person go about HITTING parts of the world? Cause I would like to try to be the stripiest (sp?) person to ever hit The Bahamas. Then i would like to hit Texas. Just for the hell of it. Or because I'm worth it. Whatever!

Daryl used to be the breakfast DJ on my local station Hallam FM until he left and joined Heart. He was just perfect for early morning listening and get u in a good mood for the day. We now have a DJ who is as just as good to wake us up.

-- Luke Morris (GreatBallsOfSteel@yahoo.com), May 13, 2001.

Um no, we have john harrison who is a total cock.

-- KenBerger (kenberger2@hotmail.com), September 04, 2001.

I think that Daryl is a very talented person and a pleasure to listen to in the morning. I think he is one of the best D.J.s i have ever listened too.

-- ian (ianbillings@talk21.com), November 30, 2001.

Daryl Denham must be, in my opinion, one of the most creative and funniest Dj's I have had the pleasure of listening to. I know I'll not be the only one in the Midlands are who will miss him in the mornings on Heart, especially the hillarious song parodies! Love 'em!

I'll just look forward to listening to him on Virgin in the New Year.

Mark :o)

If you read this Daryl ... Good luck to you and Trev in the future, you know where I am next time your in the Midlands. I'll have the JD ready 'onice'! Cheers matey.

Daryl's now on Virgin Radio - Mon-Thu 5-7pm, and Saturday mornings.

You can listen on 1215AM, via SkyDigital channel 857, or via the internet at our wonderful website: www.virginradio.co.uk

-- Virgin Radio (webmaster@virginradio.co.uk), January 03, 2002.

I used to listen to Daryl every day on Hallam FM, and he was one of the best radio presenters I have ever heard. I am not surprised the ratings have consistently gone down since he left. I know he is on Virgin now but it is not as good (he used to do lots of hidden mike stuff and speak to more callers), but I am glad he now has a job he deserves. However, I do agree that the news bits can get a bit annoying if you listen allot.
