1906 Upright Piano Needs Good Home

greenspun.com : LUSENET : San Francisco History : One Thread

I have an upright Story and Clark piano that dates from 1906. It is in really good condition, the wood on the face has been restored. It has the original ivory keys and still plays pretty good. A piano technician has examined it and says the inner mehanics are in good shape and that it is a solid piano.

I was considering selling the piano, but feel that potential buyers are not appreciating the piano for its historical value. I am interested in donating it to an historic house. I am just asking that it be moved by professional piano movers. Does anyone know of any historic project that may be interested in this piece?
